Acquisition of Dutchmed Group

New phase for leading medical technology distributor in Central and Eastern Europe.

A group of experienced healthcare entrepreneurs, with the strategic and financial support of Dennendonck Investments, has acquired the Dutchmed Group. The acquisition marks an important step in the further expansion of Dennendonck’s pan-European network of medical technology distribution companies.

Dutchmed Group, with a strong position in hospitals, defense and ambulance care in Romania, Poland and Bulgaria, has been built over the past thirty years by entrepreneurs Carel van Bilderbeek and Dick van Halewijn. Their vision and dedication have resulted in a company renowned for its high-quality service, deep product knowledge and close cooperation with healthcare professionals and international suppliers.

New management with international ambition

Day-to-day management of Dutchmed Group will be led by Jacek Switkowski (CEO) and Patrick Rommers (CFO/COO), two seasoned professionals with a proven track record in medical technology and international distribution.
