Successful mini-symposium ‘Medical Technician Day’ 2023

On Friday, November 3, Vaco2med and Medicare Uitgeest organized a mini-symposium for medical technicians working in Dutch hospitals. This symposium was organized on the occasion of The Day of the Medical Technician. This honorary day was initiated for the first time this year by the professional organization for medical technicians VZI, who are providing technical and organizational support in the application of medical technology.

 

Many medical technicians of different hospitals registered to participate in the mini-symposium. And with satisfaction. Participants rated the event with an 8.3! Presentations were given on the current policy context of hospitals, sustainability in healthcare and the role of the medical technician, practice issues posed by the MDR for hospitals and the new ISO standards for medical gases were discussed. 100% of participants indicated they would participate in the mini-symposium again next year. So Medicare en Vacomed already decided to organize a second edition of the event on Thursday 18 October 2024.
